In the Beginning...

Genesis 1:2- In the beginning....the earth was formless and empty, and darkness covered the deep waters.

Have you ever had a season when life seemed to have no form or shape? I remember when my dark season began. Life seemed to lose all structure; life as I knew it lost it's shape and took on an unknown identity. All news was dark and each new report was by design to leave you empty thirsting to taste normalcy again.

Thank God for faith because I would have fainted had it not been for the goodness of knowing Jesus and his Word! All I had to do was read on to verse 3 in Genesis to find out that even when life is without form, seemingly dark and void, in Genesis verse 3 God tells us... and the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters. To hover means to hang in a near place, intentionally positioned, close enough to touch from the air. Wow! JUST KNOW JESUS IS HOVERING IN A POSITION TO TOUCH YOU AND YOUR SITUATION AT HIS APPOINTED TIME.

NO matter how shapeless, no matter how dark, no matter how empty your life may feel, know without a shadow of a doubt, God is hovering over you and your situation. REMEMBER God. DID HIS BEST creating when there is no shape, no light and in void spaces. So Get Ready...
